Chelsea believes preserving North Carolina's agricultural heritage is essential to the state's economy, food security, and way of life. As development pressures and rising land values make it increasingly difficult for farmers to remain in agriculture, she supports finding ways to keep farming economically viable while respecting private property rights. Chelsea will advocate for policies that strengthen family farms, encourage the next generation of farmers, protect domestic agricultural interests, and preserve Henderson County's ability to produce food locally.
