Education & Workforce
Chelsea believes education should prepare students for successful lives—not prescribe a single path. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a career in risk management and insurance, she understands the value of higher education while recognizing that a four-year degree is not right for everyone. Chelsea supports strong community colleges, universities, career and technical education, and expanded vocational opportunities in high schools. She wants young people to have more pathways into skilled trades, entrepreneurship, and good-paying careers without unnecessary student debt.
